About The Position

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a High Value Case Manager to manage a varied caseload and support attorneys in developing settlements and preparing documents and correspondence. The role calls for a highly organized, customer-focused, and empathetic person who can manage case files from intake through closing under an attorney’s direction. This is an on-site position, providing the opportunity to work alongside the team and gain direct experience.

Requirements

Ability to work as part of a team and follow procedures.
Ability to interact proactively with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong writing and communication skills and attention to detail.
Extensive computer and database expertise, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager.
At least 2 years of experience working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster.

Responsibilities

Interact daily with existing and potential clients by telephone and in person.
Order medical records from providers and communicate with clients and providers during treatment.
Obtain documents needed to support injury and/or liability positions.
Work with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
Work with coworkers involved in managing and supporting case files.
Maintain organized case files.
Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble supporting materials for submission to carriers under an attorney’s direct supervision.
Interact with attorneys and present case synopses when required.
Manage case files from intake through closing under the direction of an attorney.
Perform other related duties as assigned to meet business needs.
