About The Position

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells the items individually to the public through online auctions. The High Value Scanner tests and inspects higher-value items, such as iPads, smart watches, and cell phones, to assess their condition before they are uploaded for auction. The role uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal accurately. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position that works on-site Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and reports to the Scan Team Lead.

Requirements

• Available to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Tech-savvy and able to troubleshoot.
• High level of integrity.
• Comfortable using web- and browser-based software, including Google and Amazon search.
• Able to sit, stand, and walk for hours at a time.
• Able to follow written directions and company policies.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and test electronics.
• Scan items into the system to create online auction listings.
• Search for products online.
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings.
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item.
• Meet quantity and quality goals.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
