About The Position

Morgan & Morgan is a law firm focused on protecting consumers. The High Value Case Manager works with attorneys to develop settlements and prepare documents and correspondence while managing a varied caseload. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and empathetic. This salaried position offers competitive pay and a bonus plan. The role is performed in the office five days per week.

Requirements

At least 2 years of legal or insurance adjuster experience.
Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
Proficient knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, procedures, practices, depositions, mediation, and hearings.
Strong negotiating skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Prior experience as a case manager.

Responsibilities

Provide proactive daily interaction with existing and potential clients, insurance companies, and medical providers by phone and in person.
Order medical records from providers and communicate with them during clients’ treatment.
Obtain documents needed to support injury and liability positions.
Work with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers.
Negotiate reductions in outstanding medical balances with providers.
Work with coworkers involved in managing and supporting case files.
Maintain organized case files.
Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble supporting materials for submission to carriers.
Interact with attorneys and present case synopses when required.
Perform other related duties as assigned to meet business needs.
