About The Position

The High Lift Operator moves pallets in the warehouse rack system using a hi-lift forklift. This position is limited to team members currently working at the Ottawa facility or complex. Team members at another Tyson facility who are interested in transferring should express interest through their local HR Partner. The role is scheduled Friday through Sunday, 18:00–06:00. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Move product through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
Pick and place pallets accurately and in accordance with Tyson Guidelines to avoid dumps or askew pallets.
Remove plastic wrap on occasion before depositing pallets.
Communicate difficulties or discrepancies to leadership effectively and promptly.
Follow Tyson Foods safety and policy procedures.
Follow product quality, authenticity, and legality procedures and complete Annual Food Defense Training.
Consistently follow safety processes and promote a safe work environment.
Clean as you go throughout the work shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
