About The Position

Mathnasium is hiring an instructor to help K–12 students build math skills and confidence after school. The instructor will coach students using Mathnasium’s method and curriculum, helping them catch up, keep up, and get ahead. Applicants should have completed Algebra 2 or higher and bring strong people skills; training is provided on instructional delivery. This is a W-2 role with paid training and consistent shifts.

During the school year, shifts are available Monday through Thursday from 3:00–8:00 pm, with staggered start times up to 4:00 pm, and Saturday through Sunday from 11:00 am–2:00 pm. The schedule is 10–26 hours per week, with consistent shifts selected by the instructor. During summer, shifts are Monday through Friday from 2:00–7:00 pm, with staggered start times up to 3:30 pm, for 10–20 hours per week. Instructors must be available to work at least two days per week for the next six months.

The posting lists hourly pay as $14–$18 based on skills and experience in the introduction, and $13–$18 based on skills and experience in the “What you’ll get” section. Qualified applicants will be invited to an in-center employment test and interview; the posting advertises a 24-hour response process.
