High Level Math Instructor- Algebra 2 and Up
About The Position
Mathnasium is hiring an instructor to help K–12 students catch up, keep up, and get ahead in math after school. The instructor will coach students using Mathnasium’s method and curriculum. Applicants should have completed Algebra 2 or higher and bring strong communication skills; training is provided on how to deliver the instructional method. This is a W-2 role with paid training and consistent, selected shifts. The posted pay is $14–$18 per hour in the introduction and $13–$18 per hour under “What you’ll get,” based on skills and experience. During the school year, shifts are available Monday through Thursday from 3:00–8:00 p.m., with staggered start times up to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. The role offers 10–26 hours per week. During summer, shifts are available Monday through Friday from 2:00–7:00 p.m., with staggered start times up to 3:30 p.m., for 10–20 hours per week. Applicants choose consistent shifts and must be available at least two days a week for the next six months. The hiring process includes an in-center employment test and interview.
Requirements
- Completed Algebra 2 or a higher-level math course.

Responsibilities
- Guide students through problem-solving using the Mathnasium curriculum.
- Support students with their school materials.
- Give clear, encouraging feedback to students and parents.
