Hematology Oncology NP/PA (Oneonta, NY)
About The Position
Bassett Healthcare Network is actively recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Cancer Treatment Centers in Cooperstown and Oneonta, NY. This is an opportunity to join a progressive, academic health system that is a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University. The Bassett Regional Cancer Program is continuously accredited and participates in NCI and sponsored clinical trials. The program utilizes a collaborative and multidisciplinary model with onsite specialists and a comprehensive support team including Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Financial Counselors, a Nutritionist, and Palliative Care Practitioners. This is an outpatient practice with no call responsibilities, offering a 4-day work week.
Requirements
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant.
- NYS Licensure.
- BLS, ACLS or PALS Certification Required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Oncology experience preferred.
- Oncology Experience/knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide care within the Cancer Treatment Centers in Cooperstown and Oneonta.
- Participate in a collaborative and multidisciplinary model of care.
- Engage in clinical trials participation.
- Work a 4-day work week with no call responsibilities.
