About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network is actively recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Cancer Treatment Centers located in Cooperstown and Oneonta, NY. The Bassett Regional Cancer Program is a continuously accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Center and a member of the ECOG-ACRIN, participating in NCI and sponsored clinical trials. The program utilizes a collaborative, multidisciplinary model with onsite specialists and a comprehensive support team. The role is based in an outpatient practice setting with no call responsibilities and a 4-day work week.

Requirements

• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant.
• Oncology Experience/knowledge preferred.
• NYS Licensure.
• BLS, ACLS or PALS Certification Required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University.
• Work within the Bassett Regional Cancer Program, which has been continuously accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center since 1947.
• Participate in the ECOG-ACRIN with close to 30 years of participation in NCI and sponsored clinical trials.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary model that includes onsite Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Pathologists and Radiologists.
• Work with a comprehensive support team that includes Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Financial Counselors, a Nutritionist and Palliative Care Practitioners.
• Practice in an outpatient setting at the CTC Cooperstown and FoxCare Oneonta.
• Maintain life-work balance with no call responsibilities.
• Work a 4-day work week.

Benefits

• Salary Range: $122,000-$140,000
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $50,000
