About The Position

The Heavy Skilled Production role involves semi-skilled production work using knives and hooks while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). The work is physical and may require standing at a table for eight hours or more, or working on a moving table or chain. The work environment may be cold, hot, or humid. Candidates must be willing and able to work in hot and cold conditions and perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation. The position is at a location accepting rehires. Former Tyson employees must observe a minimum 180-day rehire waiting period and are subject to a three-time hire limit. Offers are contingent on proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and passing a urinalysis screening as part of a post-offer health assessment. Some roles may also require a background check, with additional documentation provided after an offer.

Requirements

No experience needed.
Must be able and willing to work in hot and cold environments.
Must be able to work with knives and hooks.
Must be able and willing to push, pull, and lift weights up to 80 pounds.
Must be willing and able to stand for 6–8 hours per shift and meet the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must properly wear required PPE.
Must provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a post-offer urinalysis screening.
Former Tyson employees must meet the minimum 180-day rehire waiting period and three-time hire limit.
