About The Position

WM is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator I to work at its waste disposal site in Hutto, Texas. The operator works at a recycling facility and operates heavy equipment, including bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders. The position supports facility operations and is subject to strict safety procedures. The normal setting is a shop or field environment.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The starting pay is $22.00 per hour. Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Successfully complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with company operating safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance, and maintain accurate records.
• Move and position raw materials and finished components using material-moving equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
