About The Position
Texas Health Physicians Group is hiring a full-time Cardiovascular Acute Care/Adult Care Nurse Practitioner to join a team of diagnostic, interventional, and non-interventional cardiologists in Plano, Texas. The position offers the opportunity to work with board-certified physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases. The role includes hospital and ICU rounding, clinical management of patients, and assessing new consults in the clinic and hospital. Nuclear studies, stress tests, and echocardiograms are available on site. The position is 40 hours per week and includes shared Saturday coverage two days per month. The team takes a multidimensional approach to cardiac and peripheral vascular therapies.
Requirements
- Active Texas license.
- Acute Care/Adult Care board certification.
- Degree in nurse practitioner studies from an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
- The posting also lists a requirement for a Master's degree, one year of experience as a Physician Assistant, and PA licensure/certification; these details appear inconsistent with the Nurse Practitioner role.
- Must maintain board certification as required for licensure.
