About The Position

Texas Health Physicians Group is hiring a full-time Cardiovascular Acute Care/Adult Care Nurse Practitioner to join diagnostic, interventional, and non-interventional cardiologists in Plano, Texas. The role involves hospital and ICU rounding, clinical management of patients, and assessment of new clinic consults and hospital admissions. Nuclear tests, stress tests, and echocardiograms are available on site. The team offers a multidimensional approach to cardiac and peripheral vascular therapies. The position is 40 hours per week with shared Saturday coverage two days per month and uses electronic medical records.

Requirements

• Active Texas license.
• Acute Care/Adult Care board certification and experience.
• Degree in NP studies from an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
• Maintain Physician Assistant board certification as required for licensure.
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Skills in active listening and learning, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, and judgment and decision-making.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of cardiology experience preferred.
• One year as a Physician Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities
