About The Position

The HealthMarket Clerk helps keep the department’s products fresh, clean, and well-stocked while welcoming and assisting customers. The role involves customer service, locating products, replenishing and rotating merchandise, anticipating product needs, checking in deliveries, maintaining sanitation, and working with teammates to provide a positive customer experience. The clerk may also assist in other store areas and special projects. Training and support are provided; prior experience is not required.

Requirements

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, counting, and recording.
Clear, friendly communication with customers and teammates.
Ability to stay organized and keep up with the pace of a busy department.
Less than a high school diploma or equivalent is accepted.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Up to six months of similar or related work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
Help customers find products, reach items, carry heavy purchases, and relay feedback or requests to the team.
Offer product suggestions and answer customer questions.
Help customers locate and access homeopathic and natural wellness products without providing medical instruction or advice on product use.
Monitor product freshness and appearance; replenish and rotate products as needed.
Anticipate daily product needs and follow or develop a production list.
Check in products, put products away, and review invoices as needed.
Follow sanitation procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
Remove trash promptly and maintain a tidy department.
Work with teammates to provide a smooth, positive customer experience.
Follow the dress code, hygiene standards, and company policies.
Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed.
