About The Position
The Healthcare Solutions Consultant – Hospitals/Major Networks supports ECC’s hospital and large health system customers by designing, presenting, and implementing integrated healthcare communication and safety solutions. The role applies technical and workflow expertise in complex clinical environments to align solutions with patient safety, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes. The consultant partners with healthcare sales representatives, clinical specialists, and technical teams on long sales cycles, multi-stakeholder decisions, and enterprise implementations. As a trusted advisor, the consultant helps healthcare organizations modernize clinical communication, safety, and engagement platforms. After excelling in this role, the stated career advancement path is to become a Senior Healthcare Solutions Consultant and a Major Account Manager. Promotion consideration requires at least one year of demonstrated quota attainment as a Healthcare Solutions Consultant and an established pipeline of 3–5 client accounts responsible for at least $1 million GP and $500,000 RMR.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience selling into hospitals or major healthcare networks.
- Proven experience in sales, as a solutions consultant, or in technical sales support within healthcare environments.
- Ability to communicate technical and workflow concepts to clinical, technical, and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to translate clinical needs into scalable solutions.
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
Nice To Haves
- Experience selling security systems, IT solutions, SaaS platforms, or integrated technology solutions.
- Familiarity with correctional standards, compliance requirements, and public-sector funding processes.
- Background working with state and local government agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop customized healthcare solutions aligned with hospital and health system clinical workflows, infrastructure, and regulatory considerations.
- Support sales teams through discovery, solution design, and proposal development for complex healthcare opportunities.
- Conduct solution demonstrations and presentations for clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders.
- Advise healthcare customers on best practices, integration strategies, and adoption planning.
- Coordinate with internal implementation and service teams to support successful solution deployment and adoption.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively manage technical or solution-related challenges.
- Stay current on healthcare technology trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive offerings impacting acute care environments.
- Liaise between customers and internal teams, sharing feedback about product enhancements, clinical needs, and market requirements.
