About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Healthcare Operations Manager (Facility Administrator) to lead an outpatient clinic. This is an operationally focused leadership role with direct impact on patient care. Health care experience is not required. The manager leads a cross-functional clinical team, develops and mentors teammates, and works to improve patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives. The position is accountable for the clinic’s complete operation and performance, including budgeting, expense forecasting, vendor relationships, supply ordering, and compliance monitoring. The manager operates with autonomy while receiving support from the director, regional peers, and the wider company. They partner with the Regional Operations Director to identify and address employee and patient concerns and advance regional goals and standards. The role involves daily collaboration with clinical and financial teams to achieve business-aligned results. The clinic is open during the hours when the manager is available. The position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Clearinghouse.

Requirements

At least one year of management experience in healthcare, business, or the military, or equivalent renal experience (such as nurse, dietitian, social worker, or LPN), subject to the discretion of the DVP and/or ROD.
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Current CPR certification, or obtain certification within 60 days of hire or change in position.
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse if required by the state of employment.
Pass a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Clearinghouse.
Collaboration skills to work with clinical and financial teams.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree preferred, unless required by state or local laws.
Bachelor's degree in a related area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the complete operation and performance of an outpatient clinic.

Manage the clinic budget, forecast expenses, manage vendor relationships, order supplies, and monitor compliance.
