Healthcare Operations Manager
About The Position
DaVita is hiring an ambitious, operationally focused, results-driven Healthcare Operations Manager (Facility Administrator) to lead an outpatient clinic. The role directly impacts patient care and is responsible for the clinic’s overall operation and performance. Healthcare experience is not required, though management experience or equivalent renal experience is required. The manager develops and inspires a cross-functional clinical team, supports patient relationships and clinical goal setting, and advances quality improvement. The role manages budgets, forecasts expenses, vendor relationships, supplies, and compliance. The manager partners with the Regional Operations Director to address employee and patient concerns and work toward regional goals and standards. The position is available when the clinic is open.
Requirements
- At least one year of management experience in healthcare, business, or the military, or equivalent renal experience (such as nurse, dietitian, social worker, or LPN), subject to the discretion of the DVP and/or ROD.
- Current CPR certification, or obtain certification within 60 days of hire or change in position.
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to collaborate with clinical and financial teams.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree preferred, unless required by state or local laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional clinical team.
- Support relationships with patients and improve patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage the clinic’s complete operation and performance.
- Adhere to the budget and forecast expenses.
- Manage vendor relationships and order supplies.
- Monitor compliance.
- Partner with the Regional Operations Director to identify and address employee and patient concerns and work toward regional goals and standards.
- Collaborate daily with clinical and financial teams to produce results aligned with business needs.
