About The Position
Wichita Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of LPNs and nursing assistants. Supervision must comply with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The RN advances a resident-first approach, values the Community as the residents’ home, helps create a homelike environment, and models person-centered care. Starting pay is $35.50 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials under a premium pay plan, and additional pay based on experience.
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or graduation from an approved RN program.
- Current active license to practice as an RN in the state.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care community, or other related health care facility.
- Geriatric nursing experience.
