About The Position

Topeka Presbyterian Manor is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Supervision must follow applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the department director or supervisor, to help maintain the highest quality of care. The LPN is expected to put residents first, treat the Community as the residents’ home, help create a home-like environment, and model person-centered care. The position is offered for full-time or part-time day work. Starting pay is $28.50 per hour, plus shift and weekend differentials under the Premium Pay Plan; additional pay is based on experience. Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience and IV certification are considered a plus.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved LPN program.
Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
