About The Position
Topeka Presbyterian Manor is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of LPNs and nursing assistants. Supervision must follow applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The RN advances a resident-first approach, values the Community as residents’ home, helps create a homelike environment, and models person-centered care. The position is offered for full-time or part-time work on days. Starting pay is $36.00 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials under the Premium Pay Plan; additional pay is based on experience. Requirements
- Possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate from an approved RN program.
- Possess a current, active license to practice as an RN in the state.
- Have knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care community, or other related healthcare facility.
- Geriatric nursing experience.
