About The Position
Aberdeen Village is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of LPNs and nursing assistants. Supervision must comply with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the Community. The role advances the value that the resident comes first, treats the Community as the resident’s home, and helps create a home-like environment while modeling person-centered care. The position is listed as part-time and day shift. Starting pay is $37.00 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials under the Premium Pay Plan and additional pay based on experience.
Requirements
- Possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
- Possess a current, active license to practice as an RN in the state.
- Have knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care community, or other related health care facility.
- Geriatric nursing experience.
