About The Position

Aberdeen Heights is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Supervision must follow current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the Community, along with requirements from the department director or supervisor, to help maintain the highest quality of care. The role reflects the value that the resident comes first, treats the Community as the residents’ home, helps create attributes of home, and models person-centered care.

The position is listed as part-time and day shift. Starting pay is $31.00 per hour, plus shift and weekend differentials under the Premium Pay Plan; additional pay is based on experience.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.

Nice To Haves

• Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience.
• I.V. certification.
