About The Position

Aberdeen Village is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of nursing assistants. Supervision must comply with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the Community, as well as directions from the department director or supervisor, to maintain the highest degree of quality care. The LPN reflects the value that the resident comes first, recognizes the Community as the residents’ home, helps create attributes of home, and models person-centered care. The role is part-time and evening-shift. Pay starts at $28.00 per hour, plus shift differential under the Premium Pay Plan, with additional pay based on experience. Requirements

Graduate of an approved LPN program.
Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.

Nice To Haves

Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience.
I.V. certification.
