Health Services LPN - Evenings - Part-time
About The Position
Newton Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. The LPN ensures care and supervision follow applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the department director or supervisor, to maintain high-quality care. The role reflects the value that residents come first, treats the Community as the residents’ home, and models person-centered care. This is a part-time evening position. Starting pay is $29.00 per hour, with weekend differential under the premium pay plan and additional pay based on experience. Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN program.
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience.
- I.V. certification.
