About The Position
Farmington Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Supervision must follow current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the Community, as well as department director or supervisor requirements, to help ensure the highest quality of care. The role reflects the value that residents come first. The LPN treats the Community as the residents’ home, helps create a homelike environment, and models person-centered care. Pay starts at $28.00 per hour, plus shift and weekend differentials, with additional pay based on experience. Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN program.
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience.
- I.V. certification.
