About The Position

Newton Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. The LPN ensures that this supervision follows applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as directions from the department director or supervisor, to maintain the highest degree of quality care. The role reflects a resident-first value, treats the Community as the residents’ home, helps create attributes of home, and models person-centered care. The position is part-time and works nights. Starting pay is $31.00 per hour, plus weekend differential under the Premium Pay Plan. Additional pay is based on experience. Requirements

Graduate of an approved LPN program.
Hold a current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.

Nice To Haves

Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience.
I.V. certification.
