About The Position
Wichita Presbyterian Manor is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. The LPN ensures that supervision and care comply with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the department director or supervisor, to maintain high-quality care. The role reflects a resident-first approach, treats the Community as the residents’ home, helps create a home-like environment, and models person-centered care. The position is full-time on days. Starting pay is $28.00 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials under the Premium Pay Plan; additional pay is based on experience. Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN program.
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience.
- I.V. certification.
