About The Position
Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Supervision must follow applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the department director or supervisor, to help maintain the highest quality of care. The role emphasizes putting residents first, recognizing the Community as their home, creating attributes of home, and modeling person-centered care. The position starts at $28.00 per hour, plus shift differential through a premium pay plan. Additional pay may be based on experience. Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN program.
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience.
- I.V. certification.
