About The Position
This is a 1.0 FTE position located at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Program. The role requires a Health and PE Teacher with experience working with students with cognitive disabilities and a willingness to lead the adaptive health and physical education program. The position is with Arlington Public Schools, an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Requirements
- Experience working with students who have cognitive disabilities.
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
- Health and PE endorsement.
- Lifeguard certification.
Responsibilities
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with principal, staff and parents.
- Ability and willingness to work as a team member with special education and general education staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
