About The Position

This is a 1.0 FTE English Learner Teacher position located at Randolph Elementary School. The teacher will work with a diverse community of learners and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Applicants must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure, with an Elementary Education endorsement and English as a Second Language PreK–12 certification.

Requirements

• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
• Elementary Education endorsement.
• English as a Second Language PreK–12 certification required.
• Teaching experience in the mentioned areas.
• Knowledge of best instructional practices.
• Ability to integrate technology.
• Experience in educational and instructional leadership.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member with colleagues.
• Flexible, dependable, and highly organized.
• Desire to work with a diverse community of learners.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with APS English Learner program models and assessment procedures for English learner students.

Nice To Haves

• Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education is preferred but not required.
