Head of Partnerships

Scan.com•Atlanta, GA

About The Position

Scan.com is building a national imaging network that connects patients, providers, and payers to faster, better-value diagnostic imaging. The company manages the medical imaging pathway end to end, from providers' orders through to the diagnostic pathway, aiming to deliver imaging faster, at higher quality, and at lower cost. The Head of Partnerships will own the commercial success of Scan.com's channel partnerships with digital health companies. The role builds relationships across partner leadership, sales, product, and operations teams; turns agreements into functioning referral pathways; and grows the resulting business. Success is measured through partner engagement, completed patient imaging, and revenue against commercial goals. The role works closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Network, and Operations, and may develop as the company scales. The role also requires daily use of AI and the ability to identify and help build automations or agentic workflows that change how the team works. The person leading the team is expected to assess whether AI-driven processes are sufficiently safe and reliable for sensitive patient data before introducing them.

Requirements

  • Experience owning commercial partnerships or strategic accounts in digital health, healthcare services, or a closely related sector.
  • Evidence of growing revenue after a partnership is signed, including activating partner sales teams, managing co-sell opportunities, improving referral conversion, and building repeatable playbooks across multiple partners.
  • Confidence negotiating commercial terms and understanding pricing, referral economics, revenue forecasts, and contribution margin.
  • Ability to translate partner needs into clear workflows and product requirements and work effectively with technical and operational teams.
  • Strong relationship-management skills and sound judgment when partner requests compete with capacity, economics, or delivery commitments.
  • Hands-on approach to account planning, problem solving, business reviews, and accurate reporting.
  • Daily use of AI in work and ability to identify and help build automations or agentic workflows that improve how the team operates.
  • Ability to evaluate the safety and reliability of AI-driven processes involving sensitive patient data.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of digital health channel partners and develop a joint business plan for each, covering customer needs, commercial opportunity, launch milestones, responsibilities, and growth targets.
  • Qualify new channel opportunities and negotiate agreements with Legal and Finance, ensuring commercial economics, delivery commitments, data responsibilities, and routes to market are workable.
  • Lead partners from contract through launch by aligning referral workflows, integration needs, service expectations, operational owners, and launch readiness across both organizations.
  • Build a repeatable partner enablement playbook covering onboarding, account mapping, sales training, joint positioning, and co-selling; turn successful approaches into reusable materials and workflows.
  • Track partner account activation, referrals, scheduled appointments, completed scans, and collected revenue; identify where demand is lost and coordinate fixes.
  • Maintain executive sponsorship and working-level relationships, run quarterly business reviews and regular pipeline reviews, and agree corrective actions when engagement, satisfaction, or commercial results fall short.
  • Own partner retention and expansion, developing cases for new customers, geographies, modalities, or workflows where demand and delivery economics support them.
  • Maintain disciplined forecasts and partner reporting that distinguish potential reach, activated customers, actual referrals, completed scans, revenue, and margin.
  • Feed delivery and product priorities back into the business.
  • Use AI daily and identify and help build automations or agentic workflows that change how the team operates.
  • Evaluate whether AI-driven processes are safe and reliable enough for sensitive patient data before rolling them out to the team.
