About The Position

Reunion is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead their marketing function as the company enters its next phase of growth. This role will be responsible for end-to-end marketing across multiple audiences and products, working directly with the founders and reporting to the CEO. The primary focus will be on converting corporate tax credit buyers, establishing credibility through research and thought leadership on complex technical subjects, and building a repeatable demand-generation machine. This is a player-coach role where the Head of Marketing will set strategy, produce high-leverage work, and lead a team that includes a Marketing Manager, in-house design and web support, and external agencies. The successful candidate will grow into an expert in the field and develop the marketing team as the company scales.

Requirements

  • Senior B2B marketing leadership in a technical, regulated, or finance-adjacent space, with a large demand/pipeline number personally owned and scaled.
  • Command over complex subject matter; ability to turn technical details into compelling content.
  • Strong, clear writing skills.
  • Judgment about what is correct and what matters.
  • Player-coach mentality: set strategy, prioritize ruthlessly, and do critical work yourself.
  • AI expertise to multiply impact without compromising human judgment.
  • Self-sufficiency with analytics: ability to pull and interpret funnel, web, and campaign data.
  • Curiosity, kindness, fast-moving nature, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to give and take feedback well.
  • Takes ownership without being asked.

Nice To Haves

  • Thought leadership across multiple audiences and/or products, tailoring the approach while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Background in clean energy, tax, climate, structured finance, or energy-finance media.

Responsibilities

  • Own demand-generation, especially for buyers, and carry the number for tax credit buyer demand and pipeline.
  • Build a repeatable, measurable machine to move corporate tax teams from unawareness to readiness to talk, in partnership with the Business Development team.
  • Lead content and thought leadership, owning Reunion's point of view and editorial bar.
  • Set the editorial direction and priority for research, regulatory analysis, case studies, and market digests.
  • Build the machine that turns expertise from SMEs into a steady stream of thought leadership, and personally write the highest-leverage pieces.
  • Build Reunion's public profile by distributing content to gain attention in a crowded market.
  • Run earned media and PR, turning data and milestones into coverage in marquee financial press.
  • Win bigger stages at industry conferences and panels.
  • Convert Reunion's deep web of relationships into marketing successes.
  • Set strategy across audiences and products, building distinct motions for buyers (acquisition), sellers and developers (relationship and retention), and compliance software users (product marketing).
  • Steward the brand and lead the team, taking ownership of the brand and website, and evolving them as the company grows.
  • Lead, hire for, and develop a lean marketing team.
