The Head of Growth, Services is a senior leadership role responsible for setting the strategic direction for growth across the GSMA Services portfolio. The role focuses on identifying and developing commercially scalable, strategically relevant products, services, partnerships and, where appropriate, inorganic opportunities that meet the needs of the global connectivity ecosystem. The role leads the growth agenda at portfolio level, providing direction to teams responsible for partnerships, market testing and commercial strategy. Working across Services and the wider organisation, the Head of Growth turns insight into priorities and collaborates with the Head of Industry Services to inform routes to market. The position establishes the focus, decision-making framework and operating rhythm that enable opportunities to be tested, prioritised and brought to market. Success is measured by the strength and quality of the growth pipeline, clarity of investment decisions, and progress of opportunities from concept through validation, launch and scale. The role ensures initiatives are grounded in customer evidence, commercial rigour and measurable outcomes, with accountability across contributing teams and partners. In the first year, the Head of Growth is expected to establish a portfolio growth strategy, sharpen the pipeline of future product and service opportunities, and create governance for decisions about investment, partnerships, scaling or stopping. The role initially leads two direct reports: the Head of Services Product Development and the Growth, Partnerships & Commercial Director. It works collaboratively across Industry Services and with Marketing, Sales, Legal, IT, Finance and colleagues across the wider GSMA. The role is based in Atlanta with a hybrid arrangement of two to three days in the office.
