The Head of Growth, Services will set the strategic direction for the next phase of growth across the GSMA Services portfolio. This senior leadership role focuses on identifying opportunities to create future value through commercially scalable and strategically relevant products, services, partnerships and, where appropriate, inorganic opportunities aligned with the global connectivity ecosystem. The role leads the growth agenda at portfolio level, providing strategic direction to teams responsible for partnerships, market testing and commercial strategy. Working across Services and the wider organisation, the Head of Growth will turn insight into priorities and collaborate with the Head of Industry Services to inform routes to market. Rather than owning each opportunity, the role establishes the focus, decision-making framework and operating rhythm that enable the strongest ideas to be tested, prioritised and taken to market with pace and discipline. Success is measured by the quality of the growth pipeline, clarity of investment choices, and progress in moving opportunities from concept to validated proposition, launch and scale. Growth initiatives should be grounded in customer evidence, commercial rigour and measurable outcomes, with clear accountability across teams and partners. During the first year, the role is expected to establish a portfolio growth strategy, sharpen the pipeline of future product and service opportunities, and create governance for decisions about where to invest, partner, scale or stop. The position leads two experienced direct reports: the Head of Services Product Development and the Growth, Partnerships & Commercial Director. The newly established division works collaboratively across Industry Services and with Marketing, Sales, Legal, IT, Finance and colleagues across the wider GSMA. Its capabilities may expand as the portfolio and revenues grow. The successful candidate will be a senior commercial leader with substantial experience building or scaling revenue-generating products, services or commercial models. They will lead through others, set priorities and accountability, engage credibly with senior stakeholders, partners and customers, and use data, market insight and CRM or pipeline tools such as Salesforce to assess opportunities and track performance. The role combines growth ambition with the commercial discipline and leadership maturity needed to translate strategy into funded priorities, measurable outcomes and sustainable revenue growth.
