Head of Growth

BOI•Chicago, IL
•$180,000 - $250,000•Remote

About The Position

BOI is hiring a Head of Growth to build and lead its US growth function and own the go-to-market plan for the Americas. The role spans go-to-market, partnerships, and marketing, with responsibility for setting priorities, adjusting plans based on pipeline data, and reporting pipeline and channel conversion openly. The Head of Growth will own the US demand engine, including content and thought leadership, events and communities, relevant outbound outreach, and partner-sourced leads. The role will target function leaders with growth mandates at mid-cap companies and business units within large enterprises, convert interest into qualified meetings and opportunities, and improve partner hand-offs and conversion. The role also uses AI across research, outreach, and content, and builds workflows for the wider team to adopt. The position owns US positioning and offers, informs what BOI sells through buyer feedback, and drives the global brand across the website, content, events, and speaking. It turns client work into case studies and market-facing proof and points of view. The role defines the Americas partner and vendor ecosystem strategy, runs initial partnerships, and builds a partnerships team if needed. It leads US go-to-market, coaches and directs the team, hires for the growth engine, and works closely with sales-leading partners on follow-up, feedback, and deal context.

Requirements

  • Experience building B2B pipeline in consulting or professional services, with long sales cycles and senior buyers.
  • Experience marketing or selling AI services or products to enterprises; both are required.
  • Use AI in daily work and have personally built growth workflows.
  • Experience running demand generation across outbound, content, events, and partner channels, with judgment about which channel to use for a given buyer.
  • Experience leading a marketing or growth team, with willingness to do hands-on work when needed and delegate when appropriate.
  • Experience founding a company, joining a startup early, or building a function from nothing; ability to set priorities and make decisions with incomplete information.
  • Ability to work effectively with sales partners, understand what qualifies as an opportunity to them, and take accountability for meetings booked.
  • Ability to explain positioning plainly and shape both what is sold and how it is communicated.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience running a partnerships team.

Responsibilities

  • Set annual growth priorities across go-to-market, partnerships, and marketing; decide what to start, hold, or stop and adjust the plan as pipeline data comes in.
  • Own the US demand engine across content and thought leadership, events and communities, relevant outbound, and partner-sourced leads.
  • Conduct targeted outreach to function leaders with a growth mandate at mid-cap companies and business units within large enterprises.

  • Report pipeline and conversion transparently and assess which channels earn their cost.
  • Use AI for research, outreach, and content, and build workflows that the rest of the team can adopt.
  • Own US positioning and offers and incorporate buyer feedback into what BOI sells.
  • Drive BOI's global brand through the website, content, events, and speaking.
  • Turn client work into case studies, proof, and points of view that buyers cite.

  • Run initial partnerships and build a partnerships team when the strategy calls for one.
  • Measure partnerships by the meetings and opportunities they generate.
  • Lead US go-to-market, coach and direct the team, and hire roles in the order the growth engine needs them.
  • Work with sales-leading partners on follow-up, feedback, and deal context.
