Head of CRO

Facelove•,

About The Position

Facelove is a pro-age beauty brand for women aged 45 and above, with Shopify stores serving the US, Germany and Europe. The Head of CRO owns profitable growth across these stores, reports to the CEO, and manages the Junior Shopify Store Manager. The role turns research into offers, tests and implemented improvements. The Head of CRO owns the roadmap, hypotheses, analysis, quality and results; the Junior handles routine page and test builds and store updates under their direction. The Head of CRO may also build personally when needed. The role uses Shopify, Triple Whale and store apps, with support from a shared designer and an additional designer planned. The proposed allocation is 30% research and strategy, 50% experimentation and commercial improvement, and 20% department leadership, with the balance subject to change around launches. Responsibilities include researching competitors and customer feedback, maintaining a ranked roadmap, running and interpreting experiments, improving commercial offers with margins in view, implementing and monitoring improvements, coordinating retention work, supervising the Junior, and ensuring safe releases across markets. The position requires a commitment to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 CET, including a one-hour break, with Hubstaff tracking. Compensation is negotiable and discussed during recruitment; candidates are asked to provide monthly base compensation and bonus expectations separately. Position and compensation are reviewed every six months using the last six monthly scores. This head-level seat has no promotion ladder. The role is offered through a contractor agreement, and includes a paid trial of 3 to 4 hours. The onboarding review occurs at day 90 and results in a pass, a 30-day extension, or the end of the agreement. After three months, perks include position and salary reviews every six months, monthly performance reviews, an annual all-inclusive team trip paid by Facelove, membership at a local gym of the employee's choice, and a one-time gift of four Facelove products of the employee's choice. Perks unlock after passing the three-month onboarding review and end on the last working day.
