About The Position

Paired is seeking a highly experienced Head of Creative Strategy for a growing DTC e-commerce brand. This is a remote, full-time contractor role. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with larger DTC/e-commerce brands and be able to integrate quickly without extensive training. The company is looking for someone who can bring new ideas, systems, experience, and insights to drive revenue growth. The role involves leading the Creative Strategy department, developing creative systems, analyzing data, and mentoring team members. A deep understanding of customer psychology, product positioning, direct response marketing, and scaling ads through creative is essential. Experience with platforms like Meta/Facebook Ad Manager, Northbeam, and Triple Whale, as well as UGC strategy and AI creative concepts, is required. The company's primary demographic is older women/homeowners, so understanding this audience is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Creative Strategy department
  • Host weekly creative/performance meetings
  • Review learnings with the team: what’s working, what’s not working, what needs improvement
  • Work closely with the CEO, media buying agencies, creative agencies, editors, creators, and strategists
  • Develop creative systems, workflows, SOPs, and testing structures
  • Train and mentor creative strategists
  • Create and review hooks, concepts, scripts, UGC ideas, AI concepts, static concepts, and performance angles
  • Analyze competitors and other successful brands to identify opportunities and winning trends
  • Bring initiative, leadership, structure, and creativity into the company
  • Analyze ad/account data and translate that data into actionable insights for the creative team on a weekly basis
