About The Position

BM Digital is seeking a Head of Creative Strategy to lead and enhance the creative product across its client portfolio. This role focuses on operating a performance creative machine, building frameworks, implementing best practices, mentoring strategists, and ensuring all creative output is data-informed and optimized for scale. The position requires a blend of creative excellence and direct response performance expertise, deep understanding of platform dynamics, and leadership skills to elevate a team's output. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting the creative standard across all clients and platforms, translating market trends into actionable strategies, developing the performance creative strategy team, refining the production process for high output, aligning creative strategy with creator output, owning the creative side of new client onboarding, and serving as the senior creative voice for clients.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in performance creative, with the majority at an agency managing a large client portfolio.
  • Proven ability to context-switch rapidly between different client types (e.g., DTC skincare, fitness app, consumer tech).
  • Demonstrated experience driving revenue and measurable downstream effects on conversion rates and cost per acquisition.
  • Fluency in direct response creative, understanding thumb-stop drivers, conversion blockers, and concept iteration/killing.
  • Strong opinions on Meta vs. TikTok ad effectiveness backed by data from actual accounts.
  • Experience building and developing teams, including junior and senior strategists.
  • Ability to operate at volume while maintaining quality, client confidence, and team alignment.
  • Experience running live client accounts under performance pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the creative product across the entire client portfolio.
  • Set the creative standard across every client, every format, and every platform.
  • Track emerging trends on Meta and TikTok, translating signals into SOPs, playbooks, and best practice frameworks.
  • Develop and mentor the performance creative strategists team, improving their diagnostic skills, direct response fluency, and creative point of view.
  • Build standards, workflows, and SOPs for the production team in collaboration with the lead editor.
  • Ensure creative strategy and creator process are in sync with the head of talent.
  • Own the creative side of new client onboarding, building frameworks for early wins.
  • Serve as the senior creative voice for clients, presenting strategy with conviction and providing constructive feedback.
