About The Position

Element451 is hiring a Partner Development Manager to turn its consulting and technology partners into predictable joint value streams. This mid-senior individual contributor role owns a portfolio of partners, builds joint pipeline, and aligns partner and internal teams on shared deals. The role carries a partner-sourced pipeline and bookings number and reports to the VP of Strategic Partnerships. The partner portfolio includes higher education implementation firms, enrollment and student success consultancies, and systems integrators that advise schools on CRM selection and deliver implementations. It also includes SIS and ERP vendors, application platforms, data providers, and other higher education software companies whose products integrate with Element451.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in B2B SaaS partnerships, channel sales, or alliances, including at least 3 years carrying a partner-sourced revenue number.
  • A demonstrable track record of growing partner-sourced pipeline, supported by results in numbers.
  • Experience with both consulting firms or systems integrators and technology partners, and an understanding of how each makes money.
  • Strong co-selling skills, including the ability to run discovery, map accounts, and advance deals alongside a partner representative.
  • Working knowledge of partner economics, including referral fees, resale margins, services subcontracting, and deal registration rules.
  • Fluency in HubSpot or Salesforce, with the ability to maintain clean pipeline data and forecast accurately.
  • Clear writing and presentation skills, including the ability to brief a partner leadership team and train partner sellers.
  • Willingness to travel about 25% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Higher education experience in admissions, enrollment, student success, or continuing education technology.
  • Relationships in higher education consulting firms or ecosystems such as Ellucian, Workday Student, Slate, Salesforce Education Cloud, or Anthology.
  • Experience selling or partnering around AI agents or automation products.
  • Experience building an early-stage partner program, including tiers, certification, a partner portal, or PRM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build joint business plans with the top 8 to 10 partners, including named target accounts, pipeline goals, and quarterly reviews.
  • Source and co-sell deals by running account mapping with partners, setting first meetings, and working deals through close with Account Executives.
  • Run deal registration in HubSpot, review submissions, resolve conflicts, and accurately attribute partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline.
  • Enable partner teams through product training, demo certification, and sales plays so they can position Element AI CRM and Bolt agents independently.
  • Launch joint go-to-market initiatives with Marketing, including co-branded webinars, conference presence, case studies, and campaigns into shared accounts.
  • Hand off projects to Services so consulting partners deliver within scope when a client project moves to them.
  • Report monthly on pipeline, bookings, and partner health, using data to invest in productive partners and discontinue investment in underperforming partners.
  • Represent Element451 at partner events and higher education conferences.
