About The Position

Dr. Berg Nutritionals is hiring a senior, high-autonomy leader to own analytics and experimentation for its Customer Journey & Revenue division. The position works alongside the Director of Customer Journey & Revenue and partners with data engineering and teams across content, lifecycle/CRM, development, and design. The company is a nine-figure DTC brand with data spanning Shopify, Amazon, subscriptions, email, and content. The role is fully remote within the United States, except the company is not currently hiring California-based employees or international applicants. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for W-2 employment.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, experimentation, conversion rate optimization, or growth analytics, including leading a program or function across multiple teams.
  • Experience at a high-volume direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand.
  • Experience with subscription or replenishment business models.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics, funnel analysis, attribution, and measuring revenue impact across multiple data sources.
  • End-to-end ownership of a testing program, including roadmap, prioritization model, KPI framework, and process.
  • History of effective cross-departmental partnerships with content, lifecycle/CRM, development, and design teams, without directly managing those teams.
  • Experience creating documentation, processes, and shared resources that teams use.
  • Ability to communicate analysis as clear, concise recommendations to leadership, in writing and in person.
  • For remote work: an up-to-date Mac or Windows computer with antivirus protection, reliable high-speed internet, and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning tools and software.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and OneDrive.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for W-2 employment; international and California-based applicants are not currently being hired.

  • Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Amazon, Klaviyo, Recharge, and/or FullStory.
  • Experience partnering with data engineering on a data warehouse or data lake.
  • Experience building or scaling an analytics or experimentation team.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve reporting and dashboards, beginning with a customer journey dashboard.
  • Own and prioritize the cross-departmental experimentation roadmap based on revenue potential, traffic, and funnel drop-off.
  • Set standards and shared processes for proposing, designing, running, and evaluating tests, including intake and KPI frameworks.
  • Instrument the customer journey with KPIs and data points needed to measure each stage.
  • Lead analysis of test results, including statistical significance, incremental revenue, and win rate.
  • Improve test briefs by refining hypotheses and success metrics, and resolve conflicts over testing the same page or audience.
  • Run regular test reviews and maintain a shared library of learnings across teams.
  • Provide evidence and analysis on what is happening, why it is happening, and what the data suggests.
  • Deliver clear recommendations to the Director of Customer Journey & Revenue and executive leadership.
  • Represent analytics and testing in cross-functional planning, including development sprints, content calendars, and lifecycle planning.
  • Perform hands-on work as needed, such as writing queries, configuring tests, or building reports.
  • Partner with the Director of Customer Journey & Revenue to instrument the full customer journey with KPIs and data points.
  • Establish and drive adoption of a Phase 1 metrics catalog, provide an assessment of customer journey performance, and launch the test prioritization process and initial tests.
