Head Coach
About The Position
Orangetheory Fitness is seeking a Head Coach to lead and motivate studio members through pre-defined workouts and guide a team of fitness professionals. The role involves helping members exercise safely and effectively, understanding the science behind Orangetheory’s heart-rate-focused training, and supporting members as they pursue their fitness goals. The Head Coach should be a passionate, supportive leader who enjoys fitness and working with people. Orangetheory provides paid training, certifications, and support. Compensation includes base pay, commission, and performance bonuses, with a stated range of $30.00–$70.00 per hour. Job duties and selection requirements may vary by studio location.
Requirements
- Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness.
- Be AED/CPR certified.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts.
- Ensure members use correct form and provide corrections when needed.
- Understand the science behind Orangetheory workouts and heart-rate-focused training programs, and stay aware of what competitors are doing.
- Know how to use and demonstrate every piece of equipment used in workouts.
- Work as a team player.
- Lead and support a team of fitness professionals.
