About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, using organization and time-management skills to maintain product displays, inventory, and retailer relationships. You will collaborate with store teams and may support fellow merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations. On occasion, you may work with other companies’ products in the stores you service. The work includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets. You will use a Hallmark-provided mobile device to restock and organize products, monitor inventory, communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete surveys. Seasonal periods may require additional days and extended hours; some holiday work may be required. Reset assignments may involve building or installing fixtures, relocating departments and products, and resetting card sections, sometimes in the evening or on weekends. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. This is a physically demanding role performed on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. The position requires frequent handling of products and fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds and occasional handling of up to 50 pounds, as well as standing, walking, kneeling, and squatting throughout the workday. Climbing stairs or step ladders may also be required. Starting pay is $19.29–$21.29 per hour, depending on skills and experience. The variable schedule averages 8–13 hours per week. Paid training includes live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees scheduled for fewer than 30 hours may access voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
