As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in assigned retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. You will work with local store teams to optimize product placement and inventory, maintain Hallmark displays, and support other merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations as needed. The role may occasionally involve working with products from other companies in the stores you service. The work includes day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring of Hallmark products, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work activities and communications. You will also provide seasonal support around major holidays, when additional days and extended hours may be required, and participate in department resets and installations, which can include evenings or weekends. The schedule is variable during the work week and averages 10–12 hours per week. The position requires availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, and availability for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. The job involves working on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It is physically demanding and requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of items up to 30 pounds and occasional handling of items up to 50 pounds, along with standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and possibly climbing stairs and step ladders. Starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees scheduled for fewer than 30 hours per week have access to voluntary benefits.
