As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. You will restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products and displays, maintain inventory, and work with store teams to optimize product placement. The role requires professional interactions with store employees, management, and customers, as well as use of a Hallmark-provided mobile device to complete daily work, communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer required surveys. You are responsible for the Hallmark product displays at your assigned stores and may occasionally work with other companies’ products in those stores. The position also includes seasonal holiday support and, as needed, installations, department resets, and assistance to other merchandisers. Work hours vary during the week and average 13–16 hours weekly. Additional days and extended hours may be needed before and after major holidays. Some holiday work may fall on the holiday itself, including weekends. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evening or weekend work. The role is physically demanding and involves working on selling floors and in back stockrooms. You must frequently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds, and occasionally handle up to 50 pounds. The work also involves kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, and possibly climbing stairs and step ladders. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training.
