About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you independently service Hallmark departments in assigned retail stores, using organization and time-management skills to maintain product displays and inventory and build relationships with store teams. You may also support fellow merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations, and may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores you service. The role includes day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products using a company-provided mobile device. Technology is also used to communicate with a supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete surveys for merchandising activities. You are responsible for the full Hallmark product display at your assigned stores and are expected to interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers. Work varies with seasonal demand. Before and after major holidays, additional workdays and extended hours may be scheduled; some holiday work may include weekends or the holiday itself. You may also help teams build and install fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. Merchandisers may support colleagues in other territories as needed. The job involves working on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and is physically demanding. Frequent and occasional lifting requirements and other physical demands are described below. The starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees with schedules under 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits; eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
