The Hallmark Merchandiser independently services Hallmark departments in assigned retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail locations. The role showcases organization and time-management skills, builds relationships with retailer teams, and represents Hallmark in stores. Merchandisers work with local store teams to improve product placement and maintain inventory, and may support colleagues with seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, the role may involve products from other companies in the stores being serviced. The position is part-time, averaging 10–12 hours per week, with a variable schedule during the work week. The role includes day-to-day product restocking, organization, and inventory monitoring; seasonal holiday support; and participation in department installations and resets. Additional days or extended hours may be needed around major holidays, and remodel assignments may involve evening or weekend work. Merchandisers may also support other team members in their territories. Starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. The job involves work on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and requires frequent lifting and carrying, as well as standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and potentially climbing stairs and step ladders.
