About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in assigned retail stores, showcasing organization and time-management skills while building retailer relationships and representing Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support fellow merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations. On occasion, you may work with other companies’ products in the stores you service. The work includes day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark product inventory in and outside the Hallmark department. You will use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and for communication, time reporting, feedback, and required activity surveys. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores and are expected to interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers. The role also includes additional work and extended hours around seasonal demand and holidays. You may support department installations and resets, including building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evening or weekend work. Merchandisers may also support other team members in their territories as needed. Starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. The position averages 10–12 hours per week on a variable work-week schedule. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits; eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
