About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in assigned retail stores, using organization and time-management skills to maintain product displays and inventory and build relationships with store teams. You will restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products, communicate with your supervisor, and use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work activities and reporting. You may also support seasonal resets, installations, and other team members in their territories. The role may occasionally involve working with products from other companies in the stores you service. The position averages 10–14 hours per week on a variable work-week schedule. Starting pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour depending on skills and experience. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care. The work includes regular service in retail stores, additional hours and days around major holidays, and occasional department resets or remodel assignments. Holiday and reset work may include weekends or evenings; some holiday shifts may be required on the holiday itself. The role is physically demanding and involves working on sales floors and in back stockrooms, handling merchandise and fixtures, and standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and potentially climbing stairs or step ladders.
