About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain inventory and product placement, and build relationships with store teams. You serve as the face of Hallmark and may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores you service. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, department resets and installations, and collaboration with other field merchandisers as needed.

The position averages 9–15 hours per week on a variable schedule during the work week. Additional days or extended hours may be needed around major holidays and for seasonal changeovers, installations, extended services, and inventory support. Work may include evenings, weekends, or, on occasion, the holiday itself. Starting pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
• Must be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Must have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Must have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Must be available the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Must be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory and displays in assigned retail stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks, communication with a supervisor, time reporting, feedback, and required activity surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, managers, and customers.
• Take responsibility for the complete Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Provide additional support around holidays, including additional workdays or extended hours and, on occasion, work on the holiday itself.
• Assist with seasonal changeovers, installations, extended services, and inventory support.
• Participate in department installations and resets, including building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments or products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
