About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organization and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You work with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support colleagues with seasonal resets and installations. The role may occasionally involve working with other companies’ products in serviced stores.

You perform service work in Hallmark departments at grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores. The work includes day-to-day product restocking and organization, monitoring inventory and displays, supporting seasonal demand and holidays, and participating in department installations and resets. A Hallmark-provided mobile device is used for work activities and communication. The schedule varies during the work week and averages 8–17 hours weekly. Additional days or extended hours may be needed around holidays, season changes, installations, and inventory support.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Availability for a variable work-week schedule averaging 8–17 hours per week.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside Hallmark departments at assigned stores.
• Maintain responsibility for the Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising activities, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels.
• Provide seasonal support before and after holidays, including additional days or extended hours when needed; some holiday work may include the holiday itself or weekends.
• Participate in installations and department resets, including building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support fellow merchandisers in other territories as needed.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
