About The Position

The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, build relationships with store teams, optimize product placement, and maintain inventory. The role involves servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores, and may occasionally include working with other companies’ products. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily tasks and communication, and are responsible for the Hallmark product display at assigned stores. The position is part-time, averaging 8–12 hours per week, with a variable schedule during the work week. Workload and hours may increase around seasonal demand, holidays, store installations, and inventory support. The role includes paid hands-on and virtual training. Starting pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases, and part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It is physically demanding and involves handling merchandise and fixtures, standing and walking, and potentially working evenings, weekends, or holidays for seasonal support and remodel assignments.
